About SCOC

The Summit County Outdoor Coalition was formed in 2023 with a few dedicated partners. Under the Regional Partnership Initiative led by Colorado Parks and Wildlife and Great Outdoors Colorado, SCOC has worked to develop structure, governance, and strategy over the past few years. The coalition has grown as our community has rallied around our shared vision and mission, and continues to work to serve our partners, local public, and visitors.

SCOC seeks to develop a region with equitable and inclusive collaboration for scalable solutions across conservation, climate resilience and outdoor recreation.

SCOC strives to foster equitable access to outdoor recreation and to serve as a hub for guest communication and collaboration for planning landscape projects for wildlife, water and climate conservation.
